My father worked as a young man at Bramble's Poultry before WWII and directly after his return. His Army enlistment record lists his occupation as "hatchery man!" Thanks for the advertisement - I did not have anything associated with the hatchery. I wonder if some of the old ledgers might include his name. He talked of going to the hatchery at night to turn the eggs before they hatched - he and my mother bought the little bungalow right across Rt. 213 from the hatchery, and I believe she would even go with him to help.
